With photovoltaic systems, solar energy is converted into electricity. Typically they consist of photovoltaic panels and electronic systems (inverters) that manage the energy generated by the photovoltaic panels.
A typical photovoltaic array consists of one or more photovoltaic panels connected to each other. When photovoltaic panels are exposed to solar radiation, they convert about 14% of incoming solar energy into electricity. The conversion of solar energy into electricity is silent, reliable and does not burden the environment.
