In the final line, the new “Home Economics II” program provides subsidies and low-interest loans to households for the energy upgrade of their homes.

The Ministry of Economy and Development has published the invitation to the National Entrepreneurship and Development Fund for the absorption of EU funds of € 68 million, which corresponds to the creation of the “Household Savings Fund II”. The total amount of funds to be allocated to household financing amounts to EUR 391 million.

The Home Economics II program aims to support households in their efforts to invest energy-saving investments in their homes, thus contributing to both the saving of energy resources in the country and the cost reduction of the family budget . Action “Home Economy II” will support businesses active in the manufacturing, commerce and services sectors. Beneficiaries of the program will be natural persons, property owners as well as blocks of flats for shared interventions.

The categories of beneficiaries are defined by criteria of personal and family income. The basic grant rate will be staggered and will increase depending on the number of protected members. Of course, there will be a maximum grant rate. Thus the beneficiaries: they will be able to implement their interventions with low-interest loans due to their interest rate subsidy and after the completion of the interventions they will receive a grant that will cover a significant part of their investment.

The eligible interventions will concern:

Shell building: thermal insulation, shading systems, window frames and glass.
Electromechanical data: central heating system, individual heating systems, heat pumps, automation systems, photovoltaic systems and solar thermal systems.

The main implementation steps of the program are:

Information on the terms and conditions of participation in accordance with the Program Implementation Guide.
Pre-approval of a loan from a branch office of a partner bank.
First Energy Efficiency Certificate issued by an inspector to certify the energy needs of the home.
Bid collection of interventions underway to determine the requested budget.
Submission of application and supporting documents.
Listen to the program.
Signing a Loan Agreement.
Implementation of Interventions.
2nd Energy Efficiency Certificate Edition.
Providing supporting documents.

Applying and joining the program will be an ongoing process, up to the depletion of resources per region.
