Pre-announcement of Call for Improvement Plans (Actions 4.1.1 and 4.1.3) of the RDP 2014-2020

The Directorate of Rural Economy of the Region of Western Macedonia announces that the Ministry of Rural Development and Food has been invited by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food to invite the Improvement Plans related to Action 4.1.1 “Implementation of investments contributing to the competitiveness of the holding” and Action 4.1.3 “Implementation of investments contribute to the use of RES and the protection of the environment “of Greece’s 2014-2020 Rural Development Program (RDP), with a total budget of € 256 million.

4.1.1 Implementation of investments contributing to the competitiveness of the holding
Beneficiaries

Holders of agricultural holdings holding the status of active farmer or groups thereof, natural or legal persons.

In addition, you must meet one of the following:

They are professional farmers according to the applicable national legislation
They are young farmers of the sub-meter 6.1
They are legal entities principally engaged in the pursuit of agriculture. Especially for collective investment, support may also be provided to producer groups.

Strengthen:

Land purchase (up to 10% of the total cost of the investment and for cases including abandoned facilities the limit is up to 15%)
Construction, extension, modernization of agricultural buildings and constructions
Purchase, transport and installation of new machinery and equipment
Purchase, transport and installation of perennial plantations
Fence fencing and landscaping
Purchase of new apiculture and floriculture
General costs (such as fees for preparing a request for support and requesting payment, fees for engineers, consultants and fees for obtaining the necessary licenses)

4.1.3 Implementation of investments that contribute to the use of RES and the protection of the environment

Investments are being reinforced to contribute to the proper management of animal waste and to a shift towards a low-carbon farming based on increased use of Renewable Energy Sources.
Beneficiaries

Holders of agricultural holdings as active farmer, as defined in national legislation, or groups thereof, natural or legal persons.
Strengthen:

Purchase, transport and installation of new waste management equipment on the holding
Construction of waste, by-products and waste management facilities
Purchase, transportation and installation of new equipment for the use of Renewable Energy Sources to meet the needs of the net (net metering)
General costs (such as fees for drafting and submitting a request for support and request for payment, consultants as well as fees for obtaining the necessary licenses)
They concern greenhouse farms, livestock farms with an existing slaughterhouse, use of RES in existing drilling and livestock farms with investments aimed at reducing emissions of gases.
